Raetihi Survey About Improving Customer Service

Raetihi Survey About Improving Customer Service

Ruapehu District Council (RDC) has needed to reassure some Raetihi residents that the customer services survey on its Raetihi service centre is not about plans to close the centre down.

RDC Group Manager Community Services, Pauline Welch, said that Council had no plans whatsoever to close its Raetihi office or reduce any of the services it offers from there.

“Council sees the Raetihi office that combines the service centre and library as an important part of our service offering to ratepayers, residents and visitors to the district,” she said.

“Last year in an effort to improve the service we provide from the Raetihi office Council extended the closing times on Monday and Friday by an hour to four o’clock.”

“The current survey is a scheduled review of this change to help determine how beneficial the change to opening hours has been.”

Ms Welch said that public feedback is vital to enabling Council to provide the most cost effective and useful opening hours and range of services that we can.

“The short four multi-choice question survey can be obtained from the Raetihi office on Seddon St, on-line from www.ruapehudc.govt.nz or from Council’s Facebook page.”

“I would like to ask that everyone who uses the Raetihi office take a minute to complete the survey and get it back to Council by Friday 29 May.”

Any number of movie examples come to mind, beginning with Rudolf Valentino’s role (over a century ago) as the romantic Arab hero in The Sheik...
