Coastlands ready for the tech event of the year

Coastlands Shoppingtown will be hosting Tech Expo Kapiti 2015 in the Garden Court and in the Rimu Room from 18 to 20 June 2015.

“It’s actually quite a historical moment says Richard Mansell, as we are the first Mall in New Zealand to have UFB installed so we are delighted to be part of that initiative.”

Richard goes on to say that “all Coastlands retailers within the Mall will be able to connect to UFB when they are ready. At the same time, CHORUS will be able to test their process as they start work on other the large sites around the country.”

“Coastlands as a business uses the internet to connect to our other office so hopefully this will also sort the time delays that we experience. We also use Voice over IP (Internet Protocol) so this will make connections clearer and more certain. As a business we are also moving to XERO so linking to the cloud will become faster and we should be able to move larger amounts of data.”

As Richard says “fibre seems to be the agreed industry standard so the benefit of installing UFB now is that it future proofs Coastlands and builds faster connectivity for all businesses in the complex.”

Fri 19 Jun – 10am to 4.30pm

Sat 20 Jun – 10am to 4.30pm
