Fatal crash - SH1, south of Turangi - Waikato

Fatal crash - SH1, south of Turangi - Waikato

Police and other emergency services are in attendance at a 2 car motorvehicle crash on Sh1 just south of Turangi.

The crash happened at 1.05 pm.

One person has died and 2 others are injured. The Serious Crash Unit is attending to examine the scene.

The road will be closed as a result and diversions will be via SH41, SH47, and SH46.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
