Manawatu Gorge Closed After Oil Spill Causes Crash

The Manawatu Gorge has been temporarily closed after an oil spill from a truck caused a motor vehicle crash on the side Ashurst side

Police are on the scene and contractors are on the way to clean up the spill

Minor injuries were suffered by the vehicle occupants

Traffic is being diverted through Pahiatua Track on both sides

Police will advise when the scene is clear and the road open again
