Kapiti Run for Youth wants more group registrations

Over the last five years, Web Genius Kapiti Run for Youth (KR4Y) has provided a neat opportunity for local businesses to register a group and help raise money for Kapiti youth. An inspiring business who entered a group last year was The Brewer’s Dozen from Tuatara Brewing. They have entered again and Nat Pearson of Tuatara says "the Tuatara family love to get behind KR4Y as it is truly a fantastic event to support. We view the youth of Kapiti as an integral part of the community and its future and therefore are only too happy to encourage youth and participate in causes such as KR4Y.”

Kapiti Youth Support (KYS) are another group and fundraising partner of KR4Y. KYS live for youth health and wellbeing in Kapiti so they are right behind this event. “It’s also an opportunity for them to fundraise for their own cause as using the KR4Y fundraising partner model they will receive 40% of what they raise,” says Helene Judge, Campaign Manager, KR4Y.

Blue Dot HR is another small group registered to hit the beach again. They believe that by participating with enthusiasm, small steps = giant leaps for youth here in Kapiti.

Activate Youth, a local church based youth group work with college age young people to help equip and empower them to achieve all they are capable of in life. “Last year Activate Youth were the best dressed team and we know they are looking forward to raising money for Youth Quest and their own cause as a fundraising partner” says Richard Calkin of Web Genius.
