Crime wave to hit New Zealand

Crime wave to hit New Zealand

“This is one-way traffic of epic proportions and is alarming for New Zealanders, this is the most damning evidence on how violent some sectors of New Zealand society has become.” - McVicar

A crime wave is about to hit New Zealand and it is all of our own making says the Sensible Sentencing Trust.

News has just been released that up to 1000 criminals including killers and sex-offenders will be dumped on our doorstep and the Government admits it is scrambling to keep New Zealanders safe.

Trust Spokesman Garth McVicar said some sectors of New Zealand society predisposition to crime is coming back to haunt us in a big way following news that Australia is deporting back to New Zealand ‘truck loads’ of Kiwis who have committed crime while residing in Australia.

McVicar said he was alarmed at the potential damage and victimisation that such a large insurgence of criminals could have on our communities.

“We are about to be hit by a crime wave! But what is even more alarming is the fact that the liberal ideology that has allowed New Zealand to become such a rampant criminal society is still alive and well. I note Kim Workman from Rethinking Crime and Punishment is opposed to the Government announcement to establish a Child sex offender register. I mean how dumb is that!”

“It appears this man never learns, after years of working in the Criminal Justice sector and seeing the results of the failed liberal ideology he is still promoting the same nonsense. According to Kim all these criminals need is more treatment and more rehabilitation!”

McVicar said one look at the imbalance between the figures was conclusive evidence of how criminal and violent some New Zealanders had become.

“According to police 119 criminals had been deported back to New Zealand so far this year and 372 have had their visas cancelled while awaiting a final decision on deportation.”

“In the four years to June 30 New Zealand had only deported 14 offenders in the other direction.”

“This is one-way traffic of epic proportions and is alarming for New Zealanders, this is incredibly damning evidence on how violent some sectors of New Zealand society has become.”

“While I am normally loath to lay blame, in this situation I have no hesitation in laying the blame fairly and squarely on the liberal lunacy philosophy.”

“We are now reaping the rewards of years of failed social policy, weak legislation and lenient Judges.”
