Property Council to recognise southern young achievers

Media Release

31 August 2015 Property Council to recognise southern young achievers

Nominations are officially open for the inaugural Property Council New Zealand | Meridian Energy Southern Excellence Awards.

The South Island Branch is particularly excited about the Greenwood Roche Young Achiever of the Year award, which will provide an outstanding opportunity for a young local talent who will be recognised and celebrated.

This award is targeted to an individual under 35 who has, at an early stage in their professional career, achieved an outstanding performance in property by their contribution to their organisation and/or the property industry.

South Island Branch President Jo McDonald, says this is a great opportunity for the next up-and-comer in the region.

“This is an incredible platform for someone who is finding their feet in the industry to be celebrated amongst some of the country’s elite property professionals.

“Not only do they get their name up in lights and a trophy for their mantle, they also receive entry to Property Council events, including travel and attendance at our National Conference which was recently held in Adelaide”.

Nominees may come from any sector within the property industry; ranging from engineering to development and infrastructure, property management or architecture and design.

The winner must demonstrate a successful contribution to a particular field of social or economic importance related to property, through exceptional skills, dedication, commitment and the promise of future industry leadership.
