Absconder sought

Police are asking members of the public to help locate 44 year-old Casey Cowan who is in breach of his home detention conditions since he removed his electronically monitored anklet in his Avondale residence shortly after midday yesterday.

Cowan is Maori, of medium build and stands 175cm tall.
He has short dark hair [see attached pic] and was sentenced on March 4 to six months home detention in the North Shore District Court having been convicted of committing violent offences.

Anyone who knows where Casey Cowan is or has information about him should call Police on 111.
