Blossom Ride keeps growing for the third year

The third annual Hastings Blossom Ride is all set to roll out on Sunday 13 September.

The Blossom Ride is the ride that literally grows each year with proceeds going towards the planting of trees along the i-WAY cycle trail network. This year the ride starts and ends at the New Zealand Edible Garden Show in the Waikoko Gardens at the Hawke’s Bay A&P Showgrounds.

For $10 participants (Children 10 and under free) get entry to the ride, eligibility for great spot prizes, plus entertainment and lunch deals at Zepplin Café at the half way point.

The 13.5km ride (ideal for families with younger children) will take entrants to Clive via Whakatu and the Clive river trail then back to the Showgrounds.

The longer 20km route heads out past the Pakowhai Country Park to Clive, and then heads back along the river trail ending at the Showgrounds.

The Blossom Ride is an i-Way initiative, supported by Hastings District Council and is part of the 2015 Blossom Festival.
