Apply now for Horowhenua Tertiary Education Scholarships

Applications for Horowhenua District Council's Tertiary Education Scholarships have opened for the 2016 study year.

Each year Horowhenua District Council awards up to three scholarships, with each recipient receiving $2500 towards their tertiary study fees, plus 10 weeks' paid holiday employment with Council.

Applications are invited from Year 13 students currently studying at a secondary school in Horowhenua, or students who have previously studied at a Horowhenua secondary school and are now in their first or second year of tertiary study.

Students must also be planning to study or currently studying for a qualification in a Council-relevant field such as engineering, environmental health or management, finance, information technology, design, humanities or planning.
