Robbery Suspect Arrested - Hillcrest, Hamilton -
Waikato
Hamilton Police have made a third arrest
for the Video Ezy Hillcrest aggravated robbery which
occurred on Wednesday the 7th October.
A 33 year old
Hamilton man will appear in the Hamilton District Court this
morning.
With the assistance of the Waikato Armed
Offenders Squad police executed a search warrant at a
Hamilton address and located the man.
Detective Senior
Sergeant Ross PATTERSON said that two men appeared in the
Hamilton District Court on Friday charged with other
offences as well as aggravated Robbery for their part in the
incident on Wednesday night.
A sole gunman entered the
store on Wednesday night presenting a firearm and demanding
cash before leaving in a vehicle with the assistance of
others.
Mr PATTERSON said that despite the arrests,
police would like to hear from anyone who was in the area of
the Hillcrest Shops on Wednesday night around 8.40pm that
have any information that may assist the
investigation.
