Beaumont Bridge, SH8, Otago – after Labour
Weekend
Repairs to the Beaumont Bridge deck, on
State Highway 8, between Roxburgh and Lawrence, Otago, will
start after Labour Weekend.
To minimise delays for
drivers, work will be limited to 11 hours each day. This
will be at night from 7 pm through to 6 am each morning,
Monday to Thursday nights. This work will start on Tuesday
27 October. It is expected it will be completed by Friday,
11 December.
The bridge will be opened every 15 minutes to
