Police appeal to Jay Morris-Stewart to hand himself in


Waitemata Police are appealing for Jay Morris-Stewart to hand himself into Police.

The 25 year-old has two warrants for his arrest for contravening his prison release conditions, and is also wanted to arrest for breaching a protection order.

He is known to visit the Muriwai, Greenhithe, Whenuapai and Mangonui areas.

Jay Morris – Stewart is well aware that Police are looking for him and is believed to be actively evading Police.

It is not known whether he is travelling in a vehicle.

He is described as European, around 187 centimetres tall and of thin build.

He has a black fist tattooed on the back of his neck, a dragon on his right calf and the word “JAZ” tattooed on his upper right arm.

Members of the public should not approach him.

Anyone who sees him or knows where he is should call 111 immediately.

Information can also be given to the organisation Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Police would also like to warn anyone who knowingly assists Jay Morris-Stewart to evade Police that they too could be prosecuted.
