Santa’s Wonderland to delight kids in Hastings

From December 30th until Christmas Eve the centre of Hastings will become home to the Santa’s Wonderland – a Christmas extravaganza to delight the children of Hastings.

Santa will be on hand each day to gather present lists, enlighten some eager children with stories from the North Pole and have a much coveted photo taken.

The wonderland was decked out (courtesy of our local Bay City Rollers) and transformed into a fantasy world brimming with Christmas trees, twinkling lights and decorations, trains, gingerbread house and Santa’s grotto.

This free display will be open from Monday to Saturday 10-4pm and late night Thursday’s 5pm til 7pm in the old Whitcoulls building in the Heretaunga Street Mall so be sure to make a special outing to see Santa and watch those young eyes widen with delight. The Hastings Foodbank Trust has a collection bin on site for any non-perishable food items that families wish to donate or gold coin donations are very welcome, to help those less fortunate this holiday season.
