"Pedestrian struck by train in Henderson "

Police are currently on the scene at Mt Lebanon Lane, Henderson, where a female pedestrian has been struck by a train.

The woman has died as a result.

Two trains are currently stopped at the scene.

No roads are closed.

At this stage it is not known how the lady has come to be in the path of the train but it appears the incident has occurred away from the level crossing, approximately 100 metres north.
