Name release in Waikato fatal crash

Waikato Police say two people died in a fatal crash on Horotiu Road, Te Kowhai, last Friday night during the second of the long holiday weekends.

The fatal crash claimed the lives of 64 year-old Graham Hare of Auckland, and 17 year-old Michael Mills of Hamilton, and Police extend their sympathy to both families.

“There are now two more groups of family, friends, colleagues and communities who will be affected and, while there is often commentary of the costs in terms of dollars, there is no dollar value that can count the emotional costs,” says Inspector Freda Grace, Waikato Road Policing Manager.
