Suspicious male reported in Pineapple track, Dunedin

Suspicious male reported in Pineapple track, Whare flat, Dunedin

Dunedin Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen a male acting suspiciously around the car park area adjacent to the Pineapple track at Whare Flat Road around midday on Sunday 21 February.

He was seen driving a tidy white boxy styled station wagon.

He is described as a follows; Male European aged in his late 50’s or 60’s, approximately 168cm tall with a white grey receding hairline and white stubble on his face.

HIs build is described as not thin possibly sporting a pot belly.

He was seen wearing a blue checked, two tone, button up shirt with short sleeves. Light coloured shorts and a flaxie type straw wide brimmed hat.

Anyone who may have seen this person or the vehicle identified in the area of the Pineapple track could they please either contact the Dunedin police on 03 471 4800 or can pass information on anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
