Home & Garden Show Expects Strong Numbers

Home & Garden Show Expects Strong Numbers After More New Special Housing Areas Confirmed

Organiser of the North Shore Home & Garden Show, Daniel Joll, has released a statement confirming that he expects visitor numbers at the Show to continue to be strong in coming years after the recent announcement by Building and Housing Minister Nick Smith and Auckland Mayor Len Brown detailing more Special Housing Areas in Auckland.

“A report in the Otago Daily Times last month confirms that 14 new Special Housing Areas in Auckland are to be built, providing more than 4,500 new homes throughout the city. It will bring the total number of Special Housing Areas in Auckland to 120, with a combined potential of more than 52,000 new homes. Its great news for the North Shore Home & Garden Show and any business linked to home improvement“, says Mr. Joll.

For three days starting Friday 18 March, a sell-out show of over 220 exhibitors will gather at the North Shore Events Centre to bring homeowners the latest innovations and trends, along with numerous show-only specials. The event will provide variety, bargains and inspiration for show-goers intent on transforming their home surroundings.

“We’ve got a fantastic line-up of kitchens, but there will also be the latest in landscaping, plants, furniture, bathrooms, homewares, bedding, solar solutions and everything in between. Our visitors keep telling us that they love the fact that it’s a one-stop event for any building or DIY project - it makes it so easy that all the products and advice they need is under one roof. Even better, they can make the most of specials that they won’t find anywhere else, and this year there is a chance for them to win a $20,000 custom-designed bathroom thanks to Bathroom Direct”, says Mr. Joll.
