SH1 Brynderwyn Hills planned maintenance work and road closure deferred
The NZ Transport Agency says safety and maintenance work planned for SH1 on the Brynderwyn Hills, Northland, this evening has been deferred due to weather conditions.
The road was due to be closed in both directions from 7pm tonight (20 March) until 6am Monday 21 March.
Rain in the area over the weekend is forecast to continue which means some of the planned surfacing work cannot be carried out.
A new date for the work is still to be finalised.
The Transport Agency apologises for any inconvenience caused.
