Pukeiti Puffer is like no other

Pukeiti Puffer is like no other

29 March 2016

Taranaki’s unique rainforest charity fun run is on again at Pukeiti, and it’s a great opportunity to check out new developments at the premier heritage property.

The Pukeiti Puffer fun runs take place on Sunday (3 April) from 10.30am to 2pm, with registration from 9.30am. Events include a 2km run suitable for children, a 7.3km walk/run for adults and big kids, and a testing 14.5km run through the rainforest incorporating stream crossings and steep climbs.

Staged in association with the Shoe Clinic and TET Athletics Taranaki, the Pukeiti Puffer raises funds for the Cameron Clow Trust as well as TET Athletics Taranaki.

For a registration form, call in at the Shoe Clinic, 87 Devon St East, New Plymouth, or go to www.pukeiti.nz or emailKelvin@athleticstaranaki.org.nz. Cash-only registrations will take place from 9.30am on the day.

Besides the runs, there’ll be games on the main lawn, and visitors will also be able to check out the new aerial walkway to the waterwheel, the Keiller Home Garden, and other new attractions being developed at Pukeiti.

The event will take place regardless of weather conditions. Daylight Saving ends on Sunday morning, so remember to put your clocks back an hour before going to bed on Saturday night
