As
part of the Royal New Zealand Navy’s (RNZN) 75th
Anniversary and Anzac Day commemorations, seven ships will
visit their affiliated home ports.
These visits are an
important opportunity to share with the community the broad
range of activities that the Navy undertakes and how it
contributes to the security and prosperity of New
Zealand.
The public will be able to find out more about
the Navy of today and the service our men and women give to
their country through a range of events.
In addition to
the Anzac Day port visits, a special Navy 75th TV
documentary will screen on TVNZ at 10am on 25 April
featuring the deployments of HMNZ Ships TE KAHA and
WELLINGTON during 2015.
