"Update on investigation into Onehunga indecent assaults "

Police have received around 15 calls to the dedicated 0800 number for the investigation into indecent assaults against women in the Onehunga area.

Officers are now working through the information provided but still want to hear from anyone who may know the young man believed to be responsible or who has information that could help the enquiry team.

Another woman has also come forward to report an indecent assault by a young man fitting the description, on Easter Monday.

This now takes the total reported assaults to twelve.

The age range of the victims is 21 to 52 years old.

Police continue to support the victims and we are doing everything possible to catch this person.

This is however an ongoing investigation and we are mindful not to prejudice our investigation by discussing operational matters such as suspects and lines of enquiry.
