Car crash - Karapiro - South Waikato - National Alerts
At about 4.00pm this afternoon Police and other emergency services attended a vehicle crash involving a single vehicle on State Highway 1, near Karapiro.
A diversion has been put in place at the intersections of State Highway 1 and Karapiro Road, north of the crash site, and State Highway 29 and State Highway 1 which is south of the crash site.
There has been no time limit given for the road closure.
Police staff from the Serious Crash Unit are in attendance to assist with the investigation of the crash.
Police appreciate the patience of motorists whilst they conduct their initial investigation and clear the scene.
