Mobil fined over oil spill
The Bay of Plenty Regional Council prosecution against Mobil Oil New Zealand Limited for discharging a contaminant into water under sections 338 (1)(a) and 15(1)(a) of the Resource Management Act.

Mobil Oil New Zealand Limited has today been fined a total of $288,000 for the discharge of heavy fuel oil into Tauranga Harbour on 27 April 2015.
