New project to connect youth to community and business

www.youthhub.co.nz

The Rotorua Youth Centre has just launched a brand new online tool to connect youth to a community of service providers, peers and employment opportunity.

About Youth Hub

youthHub is a free online platform where young people, services and employers meet in a virtual space to inform and support our young people in to great pathways.

It’s a place for youth to profile themselves, and tell the world who they are and where they are heading in life. From there, they can connect with likeminded youth, support navigators, service providers and businesses to formulate a real time wrap around approach. Through Youthhub the whole community can impact the future of our Youth.

For Youth

Build a profile and develop your traditional CV as well as uploading images to the SEE MY STEPS feature showcasing events attended, projects, volunteering, jobs and other interests. Follow businesses and tertiary providers to keep updated with posts on events and relevant information for your career pathway. Youth hub gives you insights to support you becoming job ready and the opportunity to showcase yourself and your journey.

For Business

Your Business profile page can help Youth to understand your business and what your brand is all about. You can post events and information that might be of interest to a youth career pathway.

Connect directly with students that are developing skills specific to your business and support their journey. Advertise roles to both students and graduates with a fully integrated recruitment system. Youth profiles showcase both the traditional CV format combined with the SEE MY STEPS platform to highlight their passion, struggles and journey.
