Hamilton Police are
investigating an aggravated burglary incident that occurred
at approximately 2:40am this morning at a Norman Street
address in Hamilton.
The investigation is in the early
stages but Police can confirm that a number of people have
been hospitalised as a result of what occurred at the
address.
The scene was secured and Police will conduct a
scene examination to get a better understanding of what has
happened.
There are a number of witnesses yet to be spoken
to and Police will have further information as the enquiry
progresses.
Initial inquiries suggest this is an isolated
incident and there is no reason for the wider community to
be concerned.
