Auckland’s Sky Tower lights for love
Tonight the Sky Tower will glow in rainbow colours,
honouring those lost in Orlando and standing unified with
communities around the world calling for love, not hate.
The lighting of the Sky Tower is best viewed,
photographed, or filmed 30 minutes after sunset, which is at
5.11pm tonight.
The Sky Tower is the southern
hemisphere’s tallest man-made structure based in the heart
of Auckland, and is one of New Zealand’s most recognisable
landmarks.
SKYCITY lights the Sky Tower for
charities or community initiatives that we support
financially, or to mark national holidays, celebrations,
milestones or significant events.
