Arrests made in relation to Mt Wellington death
Detective Senior Sergeant Colin Higson:
Police have arrested two people overnight in relation to the unexplained death in Mt Wellington early yesterday morning.
A 21-year-old male and a 16-year-old male, both from Otahuhu, have been charged with the assault of the victim.
They will be appearing in court in Manukau tomorrow.
Further charges are possible as Police are still continuing with their inquiries and working to identify and locate others involved in the attack.
Police are still appealing for anyone with information about this incident to come forward.

As this matter is now before the courts Police won’t be commenting any further.
