Home & Garden Show Spotlighting New Innovations

Home & Garden Show Spotlighting New Innovations

The Marlborough Home & Garden Show opens soon on Friday 8 July and for three days, will shine the spotlight on leading innovations for indoor and outdoor home improvement. Over 120 exhibitors will gather at the Marlborough Lines Stadium 2000 to bring home enthusiasts huge variety and show-only savings, all under the one roof.

Scorpio, a new eco range for the home from Harrisons Carpet, will be making its South Island debut at the show. It originates from recycled soft drink bottles, but through the manufacturing process, is transformed into luxury cut-pile carpet. The independently tested eco-range is fade and stain-resistant, heavy duty and comes in nine fashion colours.

Stoked Stainless Ltd will also be using the show to introduce its contemporary, wood-fired hot tubs to Marlborough locals. Each is handmade in New Zealand, using stainless steel and cedar. The hot tubs will have $300 discounted off their usual price. They sell baths and electric spas, which while not on display, will also be on special.

Home enthusiasts who value style as well as functionality will love the new Bugatti Diva coffee and POD machine from The Crowded House Coffee Company. It accepts ground coffee and coffee pods, using the traditional Italian espresso method to make sublime espresso, cappuccino, latte and Americano coffee. Owner, Christopher Gauci, describes it as “more than just a coffee machine, it is contemporary art.” If purchased at the show, coffee-lovers will save $295.

Another ground-breaker featuring at the event for the first time, is the new Nexura floor-mounted heat pump from Martella Refrigeration & Air Conditioning. It boasts a unique front radiant heat panel that is engineered in Europe. The state-of-the-art heating technology can be activated by remote control, enabling traditional radiating heat while airflow is reduced. The result is a comfortable feeling of warm air and a quieter heating experience.

Show director, Daniel Joll says, “We pride ourselves on attracting the latest home improvement products and innovations to the show. We’re delighted to be helping the launch of these clever new concepts and look forward to bringing visitors a show packed with the latest trends, variety and bargains.“

“There will be a huge range of homeware, heating, garden equipment and art, plants, solar solutions, kitchens, new home building, carpets, insulation, home automation - and everything in between. Free daily seminars by industry experts will give show visitors hot tips on gardening, solar solutions and choosing colour, plus there will be a photographic exhibition by Marlborough Camera Club. Even better, show-goers will also have the chance to win $3,000 worth of Solatube Daylighting Systems and installation from HomeTech, along with a 13-piece Stoneline cookware set. There really will be something for everyone, so come along and prepare to be inspired!.” Mr. Joll said.
