Court appearance in relation to death of Tauranga baby


A 22-year-old male is appearing in Tauranga District Court today [Wednesday 29 June] charged with murder in relation to the death of three-month-old Richard Uddin in Tauranga on 7 June.

The man also faces seven additional charges of assault on a child.

As this matter is now before the courts, Police are not able to comment any further at this time.
