Police concerned for missing Auckland man

"Police concerned for missing Auckland man"

Police are concerned for a 68-year-old Auckland man who left his home yesterday morning on his mobility scooter and has not been seen since.

Robert Gardner was last seen at 9am yesterday when he left his Mt Wellington home.

This behaviour is completely out of character for him, and his family and Police are very worried for his safety.

Robert is described as Maori and was last seen wearing dark coloured track pants, a t-shirt and a black beanie.

His mobility scooter is red.

He usually stays within the Panmure and Mt Wellington areas.

Search and Rescue are currently searching these areas, along with area staff who are continuing to make enquiries.

If you have any idea where Robert may be or you have information that can assist Police, please contact the Auckland 09 302 6641.

A photo of Robert will likely be available later this afternoon.
