Death in Wairoa

Police have arrested a man following the death of a 30-year-old in Wairoa this morning.

Police have been in the Tuai community throughout the day conducting scene examinations and interviewing witnesses.

The 20-year-old has been charged with murder and will be appearing in the Hastings District Court on Monday.

As this matter is now before the courts Police aren’t in a position to comment further.
