Free public lecture on place-making

A free public lecture on place-making - the creation of temporary projects, events, installations and amenities in towns and cities - will be held in Levin next week.

Gap Filler co-founder Dr Ryan Reynolds will share his experience of creative and experimental projects as generators of community energy and pride.

Gap Filler is a creative urban regeneration initiative established initially in response to the Canterbury earthquakes, and that now works across New Zealand and internationally.

To be held on Wednesday 27 July at 6pm at Te Takere in Levin, the public lecture is part of the Growing Levin town centre development project. To register, please email growinglevin@horowhenua.govt.nz
