Motor Vehicle collision Mt Albert At just after 4a.m.
this morning a vehicle was observed by Police driving at speed along Mount Albert Road Mt Roskill toward Hillsborough Road. The vehicle has travelled only a short distance before the driver has struck a mobile St Johns Ambulance. Police are currently at the scene, one person is trapped in the car.
No person from the Ambulance was injured. Mount Albert Road has been closed from Hillsborough Road through to Buckley Road whilst Police conduct a scene examination and the occupant of the vehicle is extracted. Police envisage the road will be closed at least to 7a.m.
this morning. The Serious Crash Unit has been is now investigating.
