Incident in Frankton, Queenstown
Queenstown Police
were called to a domestic incident at approximately 12:00pm
this afternoon where a 20-year-old male left a Frankton
address believed to be in possession of a weapon.
Police responded and cordoned off the area around Kawarau Place, Frankton.
Nearby schools and kindergartens were notified as a safety precaution.
The man was located near his home address shortly after and arrested without incident.
He will be appearing in court on various charges at a future date.
