"Westport Police investigating house fire"

Police and the Fire Service attended a house fire on Stafford Street, Westport at around 5:45pm last night.

The house has suffered substantial damage as a result.

Police and Fire are at the address this morning to continue with their investigations.

The cause is unknown at this stage.

Police would like to hear from anyone that was in or around the area at the time and may have information that can assist in their enquiries.
