Police are seeking witnesses to a serious assault that took place between11am and 12pm on Saturday the 30th of July 2016.
The incident took place in the Homedale Road Reserve in the Pukehangi area of Rotorua.
The reserve is located between Homedale Street and Gem Street.
A male was walking through the reserve from Homedale Street towards Gem Street when he was assaulted by five males.
The assault involved the use of weapons and the victim suffered multiple fractures as a result.
The five male suspects then left in two cars, one of which was a green coloured Toyota Celica or Supra.
