Kerry Prendergast endorses Mayoral Candidate Jo Coughlan

Mayoral Candidate Jo Coughlan said today she is very honoured to be endorsed by former Mayor Kerry Prendergast.

Coughlan is standing for Mayor only and as an independent candidate. “I am very honoured to be endorsed by Kerry Prendergast who was a fantastic Mayor of Wellington.” In her video endorsement Kerry acknowledges the city needs proven leadership. “Somebody that understands that a city has to have good, basic foundation infrastructure. The Port, the Airport, good roads, good fibre-optic cabling. Then you have to have a vibrant economy. Something that means people want to come and live here because there are jobs hereJo has proven leadership. She has developed and led the economic development strategy. I’m going to be voting for Jo Coughlan for Mayor."
