EV chargers helping the environment

Vector’s electric vehicle charging stations continue to be used regularly. Since we began installing chargers in November 2015, we have served 31.01 MWh of electricity, potentially saving as much as 41,217.68 kilograms of CO2 from being emitted into the atmosphere1.

Electricity

Our crews were asked to isolate the power supply for safety at three house fires in Newton, Avondale and Northcote during the week.

There were five car v pole incidents over the past week; two incidents in Kumeu, and accidents in Manurewa, Glen Eden and Clevedon.
