Shannon Community Development Trust grant applications close soon

Shannon Community Development Trust grant applications close at 5pm on Wednesday 31 August.

The Trust provides targeted funding to non-profit organisations for projects that bring benefits to the Shannon community, as well as to local individuals seeking scholarships for academic and sporting pursuits.

The Trust has approximately $13,000 to distribute each year.

Criteria and application forms are available on Horowhenua District Council’s website at www.horowhenua.govt.nz/grants. Applicants can also apply online.

Further information, including a brochure and map indicating the Trust's operational boundaries, is available on Council’s website. Copies are also available at the Shannon Library in Plimmer Terrace, as well as at Te Takere or Council’s office in Levin.

Any queries should be made to the Trust secretary Garreth Stevens at garreths@horowhenua.govt.nz.
