"Incident in Rolleston Ave, Christchurch"

Christchurch Police have located and are speaking with a male in relation to a threat made to a school earlier today.

At approximately 9.10am this morning, police received reports a male had entered school grounds on Rolleston Avenue and made threats towards school staff.

As per their emergency procedures, the school went into lock down and contacted police.

Police have responded to the incident and made enquiries into the locating the male.

At approximately 10.20am, police staff located the male and are currently speaking with him in relation to the incident.
