Scoop Mayoral Forum

Scoop, New Zealand's leading independent news site, is organising a special one-off event, the Wellington Wannabe Mayors Forum, at 5:30 for 6pm onTuesday, September 13th at the stylish Prefab Hall on Jessie Street.

The event will include a special ‘mystery question’ round in which the candidates each pull from the hat and answer one question submitted ahead of time on Facebook and Twitter. There's lots at stake: the airport extension, more roads, the Living Wage, the proposed convention centre, the council's 'toxic' working culture ... all these issues will be up for debate.
