"Enquiries continuing into theft of cows from Ashburton farm"
Police are continuing to make enquiries into the alleged theft of a number of cattle from an Ashburton farm.
On Friday 9th of September Police executed a search warrant at the Ashburton address of a person of interest in the investigation.
No arrests have been made at this time and the enquiry team are continuing to investigate.

Police is unable to comment further while the investigation is underway.
