SH2 at Apata,
Tauranga has re-opened following a serious crash this
evening.
The crash happened just before 6pm this evening
and involved two cars in a head on collision after one of
the vehicles crossed the centre line.
As a result of the
crash three people were taken to Tauranga Hospital with two
in a serious condition and the third with moderate
injuries.
Family are with the victims at the
hospital.
The Serious Crash Unit are investigating the
crash.
