Hamilton Police seeking Atua Edwards

Hamilton Police seeking Atua Edwards

Hamilton Police are actively seeking 34 year old Atua Edwards and need the public's help to find him.

Edwards is described as Maori, 185cm tall and of solid build.

He has the words "cash money" tattooed on his neck.

He is wanted to arrest on a number of violence-related charges and continues to offend.

Edwards is actively avoiding arrest and Police say he should not be approached.

Edwards was featured on TVNZ's Police Ten 7 programme two weeks ago.

Anyone who sees Edwards is asked to call 111 immediately.

Non-urgent information as to his whereabouts can be given to the Hamilton Police Station on (07) 858 6200, or anonymously to the organisation Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Members of the public are reminded that anyone found assisting Edwards to avoid arrest could face charges themselves.
