"Man stabbed overnight in Paeroa"

Police were called to an address in Paeroa shortly before 11:00PM last night, following reports of a man being stabbed.

The victim, a 43-year-old male was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries as result of a fight.

Police arrested a 28-year-old male at the scene and continue to speak to him this morning.

A sceneguard is still in place and the investigation continues this morning.
