Water shutdown for Stratford - 15 November 2016

8 November 2016

MEDIA RELEASE

WATER SHUTDOWN FOR STRATFORD

Stratford will be without water on the night of Tuesday 15 November 2016.

Due to essential maintenance being carried out on the main water line feeding the Stratford township, residents will be without water overnight from 10.30pm Tuesday 15 November until 6.00am on Wednesday 16 November.

“This will affect everyone on the town water supply,” says Sven Hanne Director Assets. “While it is not ideal we have scheduled the shutdown at a time least disruptive to the community.”

“Residents may notice their water is white, has air in it or is a little dirty on the morning of Wednesday 16 November. We ask everyone to run their taps for a few minutes before using the water,” says Sven.

For further information contact Council’s Service Centre 06 765 6099.
