Update on State Highway 2 Hutt on-ramp

17 November 2016 | CENTRAL REGION

Update on State Highway 2 Hutt on-ramp

The NZ Transport Agency is advising motorists that the State Highway 2 Hutt on-ramp at the bottom of the Ngauranga Gorge is likely to reopen later today, returning to its normal layout. Motorists will notice there are some shipping containers in place. The shipping containers are being used to provide protection from the slip that occurred as a result of the recent heavy rain. Motorists will also notice a slight difference in the layout and line marking so we ask them to take care as they drive through, and to adhere to the temporary speed limit of 50 km/h.

People can call 0800 44 44 49 for updates and the Transport Agency’s website and social media accounts will be also updated as more information is available.
