"Incident in Northland "

To be attributed to Senior Sergeant Cliff Metcalfe, Northland Police

Police are currently responding to an incident in Whirinaki, Northland.

There are concerns for the mental state of a man inside a property on State Highway 12.

Police were called by members of the public who observed the man in a distressed state.

At this point Police do not believe there is anyone else in the house with the man.

Cordons are in place and a number of staff are responding.
