Harwoods Hole update
A team of four cave rescue specialists has been deployed to enter the caving system where a person has fallen at Harwoods Hole, Takaka Hill.
It is expected to take between one to two hours for the team to reach the fallen person.
A further update will be provided as soon as possible after the team reaches them.
As advised in Police's earlier release, communication in the area is not optimum, but we will endeavour to keep media updated as frequently as possible.
Interview requests are not able to be facilitated at this time, due to the communication issues in the area.
